AES Encryption Broken?

A group of cryptographic researches have found that AES, the encryption standard adopted by the US Department of Commerce back in 2000, could be broken by everyday crackers with a new paper written by the group. Adi Shamir, of the RSA Algorithm, along with Alex Biryukov, Orr Dunkelman, Nathan Keller and Dmitry Khovratovich, have a paper prepared to be released that decribes the flaws with AES-256 and how they compare with AES-128.
It turns out that AES-256 is just as tough to break than AES-128, seeing they both require similar related keys and time, They are suggesting that people use AES-128, as it provides enough encryption for the foreseeable future.
