I am currently working at a local IT integration firm as a Network Engineer, planning, deploying, and troubleshooting network and system solutions. By servicing dozens of clients in and around the Augusta area, I have had the pleasure to experience just as many different network and system configurations. This has allowed me to gain experience that I would not have if working in a static environment with the same servers and client machines.

After working at Lynchburg College I continuously worked on small websites and projects that included Windows XP and Server 2003 systems. I have worked at local churches and restaurants doing system maintainance and upgrades, including installing patches, editing group policy, and user management.
CSS Web Technician – Lynchburg College
Lynchburg, VA September – December 2008
In my time at Lynchburg College in Virginia I handled all CSS development based from graphic design mock-ups and converted them to web-based CSS design templates. I handled several projects including this task, as well as updating existing design content on the live website.

Subject Matter Expert – Windows Vista
Redmond, WA July 2008, January 2010
Collaborated together with Microsoft and other SMEs to determine relevant technical content for the Configuring Vista exam that test candidates have to know to become certified. We reviewed all exam questions to ensure that they were technically relevant to a current and useful network topology. Standards were set on which technical skills should be measured, and the weight of different skills in scoring the exam.
Subject Matter Expert – Windows 7
One of eight SMEs to design and write the Windows 7 performance-based exam. Processes in this contract included designing specifications for the performances based exam, as well the designing and writing exam item tasks, and the associated review of those tasks.
